Sending a file overview

Using the Send To folder, you can quickly send a file to a floppy disk, your desktop, another person using e-mail, or the My Documents folder. Every user on your computer has a Send To folder and can customize its contents. When you add new locations to the Send To folder, they appear on the Send To menu when you right-click a file.

Adding other locations to the Send To menu is convenient if you frequently perform the same file management tasks. For example, if you back up files on another network computer every day, having the computer on the Send To menu can save you time.
